Evangelism: God is at work in the world today.  We can see His hand everywhere we look.  And God wants you to join Him in His work.  He wants you to have a mission in the world.  Your ministry is your service to believers, your mission is your service to nonbelievers.

Jesus was the antidote for spiritual blindness

Jesus called out and mentored leaderless people

17 Jesus called out to them, "Come, be my disciples, and I will show you how to fish for people!" - Mark 1:17

Jesus spent much of His time equipping Servant leaders to go into all of the world and preach the gospel.  CrossPoint spends much of its time and resources to reach those who do not know the Lord outside of our own church community.  We also reach beyond the borders of the United States to people groups in other countries.

HOME BASE 401:  CrossPoint is a purpose driven church.  Ministry is the third of the 5 purposes that we teach from scripture.  Our Grand Slam classes are taught every other month.  We teach you from scripture on one purpose per meeting.  It is the goal of CrossPoint to mature the saints of God.

The Mission purpose teaches us that not only has God called us to minister to His local body where we are planted, but He desires us to reach "beyond our walls".  God has given us a mission to reach outside the walls of CrossPoint to our community, our state, our country and to the countries of the world.  Your vision will grow as you learn God's heart for the world in this class on missions.
