The production operator must have a wide scope of talent. They must have (or be willing to learn) a general knowledge of sound, music, video, computers and lighting. Positions include Front of House sound operator, Light design and operation, video engineering, video editing, visual graphics/PowerPoint and direction of video taping.
Ministry Commitment These are the most demanding positions within the ministry. You must be able to think on the fly, work under short deadlines and deal with a wide variety of “opportunities” that come your way. The time commitment varies with the position but is generally no more than 4 hour a week, unless there is a special event , then its usually 48 hours a day 14 days a week.
Prerequisites
Engineers are church members who are passionate about providing the best possible sound re-enforcement and audio support for our musicians, singers, and speakers. An evaluation of technical skills is necessary. Attend Grand Slam Class 101. Ministry Leader Greg Ball Greg@CrossPoint.cc
