Several members are elderly or have limitations to hinder mobility in the community. They are able to stay at home by themself, but cannot drive to the grocery store, pharmacy, doctor, etc. These shut-ins need someone to visit with them weekly to build relationship but also to help meet transportation needs as well. Some of our shut-ins live in assisted living homes. Their greatest need is to have a friend to talk to regularly.
Ministry Commitment You can visit during the day or early evening... whatever works in your schedule. You can spend 1-2 hours per week visiting.
